Wai Keong Shum is a highly experienced dispute resolution, compliance and technology lawyer with over 18 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, compliance, internal investigations and technology.

Wai Keong regularly works with corporate and high net worth clients across diverse industries including technology companies, financial institutions and family offices with a focus on Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea.

His experience includes spending over a decade at a Fortune Global 500 strategy and IT consulting firm where he held various global and regional in-house counsel positions and led teams across Asia Pacific. He also has experience in advising on emerging and new technologies, data and AI, cybersecurity, anticorruption, and competition law. Prior to that, he practised in Singapore with a leading global law firm’s dispute resolution and arbitration team.

Wai Keong views his role in helping clients resolve and avoid disputes as enabling them to have the freedom to operate and grow commercially and personally. He enjoys working with clients in a collaborative manner to achieve their desired business and personal outcomes.
